Netherlands Special Guest at the curtain raising ceremony of the upcoming event Showcase CDMB

The curtain raising ceremony program for the upcoming exhibition called “Showcase CDMB” took place on 11 October 2011 at BRAC INN. On behalf of our Ambassador H.E. Mr Alphons Hennekens, Ms Miriam Otto, Second Secretary, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands was present there as a special guest. The main speakers of this event were H.E. Mr Svend Olling. Ambassador, Royal Danish Embassy, Ms Miriam Otto, Second Secretary, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Mr Muhammad A. (Rumee) Ali, Chairman, BRAC EPL Investments Ltd. & BRAC Bank.

Ms Otto during her speech conveyed that the embassy will provide support to the coming event “Showcase CDMB” and said that this will be a good opportunity for companies to learn about profitable and environmentally friendly technologies that are available nowadays. It will serve as a platform for companies to find the right business partners who can help them with putting these eco)friendly methods in place.

The upcoming exhibition “Showcase CDMB” will take place on February 16-18 2012 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. It aims to create awareness about “Green trade Sources in Business” and branding Bangladesh globally as a “Sustainable Initiative Country.” This showcase will be focusing on Green Industrial Equipment, Bio-Diversity & Agricultural Machinery and Renewable Energy Technology.
